Frequently asked questions
We're busy working on the policies and technology as we speak. We plan to go live 19 November and we encourage you to join our waitlist so we can share our launch updates and deals with you.
We offer a simple, all-in-one policy management platform built for early childhood education centres in New Zealand. We help you stay compliant with Ministry of Education licensing criteria and other requirements by keeping your policies up to date, reviewed, and easy to understand.
Yes. Every policy we provide meets current New Zealand ECE regulations, including the Education and Training Act 2020, Education (Early Childhood Services) Regulations 2008, Licensing Criteria for Early Childhood Education & Care Services 2008, and guidance from Te Whāriki. When rules change, we’ll update your policies and let you know what to do.
We take the effort out of the policy review process. Policies are reviewed on a schedule, and staff and whānau can give feedback. The review date and changes are recorded so you can show evidence of consultation if you’re audited by the Ministry of Education or the Education Review Office (ERO).
We're watching events unfold like the rest of the sector, and will make sure our policies reflect the latest regulatory requirements.
We want to work with centres to provide the best solution we can, which may mean offering optional policies that exceed requirements. If you have a preference or perspective you'd like to share with us then please get in touch.
Yes. You can tailor selected policy statements to reflect your centre’s values, language, and kaupapa. Our core policy pack includes over 50 policies required for ECE compliance in New Zealand. Using our resources can help to strengthen your centre’s professionalism and internal processes — without overloading your team. We focus on plain language and practical application.
No. You can access all your centre’s policies online, any time. All you need is a device with internet access.
You'll have a clear record of who's read your policies, and when – making it easier to discuss implementation with your staff.
We can help you transition from your policies to ours. The benefit of letting us manage your policies is that they'll never go out of date and are assured by industry experts.
Āe. Where possible, our policies can include key kupu Māori. You choose from certain kupu and these are incorporated into your policies. Certain wording can't be changed for legal reasons. We do have space for you to reflect your cultural practices and values.
