SchoolDocs has been trusted by over 2,100 schools across Aotearoa since 2006. We’ve spent nearly two decades helping schools simplify policy management, and now we’re bringing that same expertise to early childhood education.
We developed ECEDocs in collaboration with centres and sector experts to reduce the burden of compliance.
Our mission is simple: to give centre leaders peace of mind. From our base in Ōtautahi Christchurch, we’re proud to serve the people who care for New Zealand’s youngest learners.
SchoolDocs timeline
2006
SchoolDocs is founded
SchoolDocs started out as a great idea from a one of the founders - a Christchurch principal (and later chair of the New Zealand Principals' Federation) - and the technical smarts of his sister-and-brother-in-law, owners of Streamliners LTD.
2013
SchoolDocs is in demand
Our policy service proved such a success it quickly launches for schools across the motu.
2024
We celebrate serving 2,000 schools
SchoolDocs proudly supports 2000 schools and over 250 general practices through GPDocs.
2015
GPDocs is created
In 2015 GPDocs is launched to offer policies to general practices. Both companies were started by two kiwi families who are still involved today.
2025
ECEDocs is created
We heard you! After receiving requests from early childcare centres for years, we developed tailored policies for the ECE sector and launched ECEDocs.
